The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification is a hands-on, in-person training designed for healthcare professionals and others with a duty to respond to emergencies. This advanced CPR course covers essential skills such as recognizing and managing respiratory and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants. Participants will learn team-based resuscitation techniques, including two-rescuer and multi-rescuer high-performance CPR, the proper use of a bag-mask device, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) operation.
This certification is required for medical professionals, including doctors, nurses, EMTs, paramedics, CNAs, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers. It also fulfills New York Summer Camp Health Director and trip leader Advanced CPR requirements.
